HVOF – High Velocity Oxygen Fuel Spraying

Byron products is furnished with two different HVOF Coating booth systems with the ability to rotate and traverse across large areas for components that size up to 16 feet in length and 4 feet in diameter. All HVOF coatings are applied via robot with dedicated programming for each component. Typically material to be coated never exceeds 300 F during the application process. This type of coating can be applied with two types of systems using gas and liquid fuels. Tungsten carbide coatings with nearly 100% density can be applied to virtually any thickness required. Liquid fueled systems are used primarily within the power generation and industrial markets, while gas fueled systems are used primarily in the aerospace market. Metals and metallic carbides can be applied with these systems.
