What is Continuous Furnace Brazing?

Our specialized and optimal continuous furnace brazing technique is a method used for outputs in both small and large batches. It’s ideal for non-oxidizing atmospheres with temperatures up to 1100°C or 2012°F. This process involves transporting the metal material through the furnace at a constant speed or step-by-step while being heated simultaneously.

At Byron Products, this process is usually chosen for large-input annealing and hardening of stainless steel and copper metals. Furthermore, we use other metals, such as nickel, copper, silver, and any alloy with the abovementioned elements, as fillers. Therefore, we’re able to create bright parts consistently and efficiently.

Why Choose Byron Products for Your Furnace Brazing Needs?

After brazing, we have secondary applications that enhance your desired products. These applications are used for improving the surface finishes or adding additional features. It highly depends on the needs and wants of the client, which is how we choose the right secondary operations.

Furthermore, we are highly skilled and have the certifications to prove it. You can trust us to complete your orders precisely while meeting your prerequisites and specifications, making us a reputable option you won’t regret.

How Continuous Furnace Brazing Works

Furnace Brazing is a process used to join two metals, with one having a higher melting point than the other. Here how it works:

The furnace door is closed, and the atmosphere is pumped out by the furnace’s diffusion pump on a vacuum furnace. This ensures that no oxygen is present in the chamber, which would otherwise prevent successful brazing. In a continuous or belt furnace, the work zones are filled with gas – in our case, hydrogen

After that, the temperature that you desire for brazing will be chosen. Once the brazing process is done, the first batch is cooled down. But during continuous furnace brazing, we continually load the furnace.

It’s why the continuous process is mainly used for our customers who require a particular product in large quantities. It allows us to finish up your orders without inconsistencies. Plus, they’re all uniform and free from any errors.
